Top Ten Tuesday: Best Books I’ve Read in 2017

Some books just stand out, don’t they?

It’s Top Ten Tuesday!

Today I’m sharing the top ten books I’ve read in 2017.

These are not necessarily new releases, but books that stayed in my mind long after I closed the book.

His Steadfast Love by Julie Lessman

This book doesn’t release until August 2017, but it is available for pre-order. I was given an advanced reader copy. You’ll get my full review soon so I’ll just leave it at that, but this is definitely a 5 star book.

Meant to be Mine by Becky Wade

I don’t know what it is about this book, but I can’t get enough. I read it for the first time when my daughter (almost 4) was a baby, and I’ve read it twice this year alone. Now, I always read books that I like at least twice because I dissect them the second or third or fourth time. But I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of this book.

Can’t Help Falling by Kara Isaac

This is an author to keep an eye out for. I’ve read her first two books and I can’t wait to read her newest release: Then There Was You.

One More Song to Sing by Lindsay Harrel

Lindsay Harrel’s debut novel sang to me. It’s on my list of books to reread. It has it all–an inspirational theme of grace, love, and romance. Here’s my review.

True to You by Becky Wade

Becky Wade’s books just keeping getting better and better. This is her newest release and the first in her new series. Here’s my review.

Just the Way You Are by Pepper Basham

Great book. Just make sure you have chocolate on hand. I couldn’t stop laughing and my heart was  mush by the end. Here’s my review.

Restoring Love by Jennifer Slattery Wow. The first book I’ve read by Jennifer Slattery, but not the last. Here’s my review.

None So Blind by Chautona Havig

Chautona Havig’s None So Blind has a unique twist on amnesia, with a little bit of romance, and humor. Like many of the books on this list, here’s my review.

From the Start by Melissa Tagg

This is the first book I read by Melissa Tagg–and I couldn’t stop laughing. Since reading this book, I’ve added the rest of her books on my TBR list.

Behind the Scenes by Jen Turano

To be honest, historical fiction isn’t my favorite genre. I prefer contemporary, but Jen Turano’s Behind the Scenes made my list because I loved it. It has humor, romance, and quirky character–three of my must-have’s when it comes to reading fiction. I’m hooked which means I’ll be spending a little more time reading historical fiction. Here’s my review.
